Basic Obedience Lessons -- $130 / 7 Weeks

- 7 sessions, recommended for dogs 5 months old and up.
- Owner and the dog attend a one hour lesson each week.
- Homework of 1/2 to 1 hour per day is recommended.
- The more effort you put into the training, the more you will get out of it!
- If your dog has two masters we encourage both to attend.
- Other family members are welcome to watch. (to avoid inconsistent handling at home)
- Owners should prepare to learn as much as, if not more than the dog.
- Owners will learn correct handling and correction techniques.
- Dogs will learn to respond to basic obedience commands.
- Behaviour problems and general dog care are dealt with in an open question and answer period.
Your dog will learn:
- To walk at a heel, on your left hand side, nice and neatly, without pulling.
- To sit automatically, whenever you come to a stop.
- To sit & stay.
- To come on command and return to heel position on command.
- To lie down and stay.
- To stand for examination or stand and stay.
- The drop or down command while in motion.
Intermediate Obedience Lessons -- $130 / 6 Sessions

Recommended Age: All dogs in this class must have completed our Basic Obedience Program or pass an evaluation prior to sign up.
This class offers the next step for you and your dog in obedience training. After reviewing your basic obedience, we move on to:
- Heeling With No Hands
- Hand Signals Only
- Working on a Long Line
- Moving Downs
- Extended Sit
- Down Stays Around Increased Distraction
- and Long Stand
Puppy Kindergarten -- $130 / 6 Sessions

Recommended age 12-24 weeks
All puppies must have two sets of vaccines, including Bordetella (Kennel Cough Vaccine).
In this class we will meet one hour a week for 6 weeks. The puppy kindergarten program helps to socialize your new puppy with new situations, people and other puppies. We cover common puppy issues as they arise; including digging, jumping, mouthing, house training, etc.
We also start your pup on the path to proper obedience, teaching the following exercises; Sit, Down Walk on a loose leash, Off and Take it, and focus commands. A great way to start your new family member on the path to proper obedience and basic manners!
Beginners Agility Training -- $130 / 6 Sessions

Have fun while building a good working relationship with your dog and bring them home happy and tired!
This course includes an introduction to the agility equipment and complete instruction on how to run your dog through the course (Tunnels, High Jumps, Broad Jumps, Dog Walk, and Teeter) This course is not geared towards serious sport but more of a fun introduction to the sport.
Dogs must not be aggresive and handler must have some off-leash control. There is a maximum of eight (8) dogs per class, so these classes usually fill up quick!
Dogs must be over 1 year old to join this class.
Personal Protection -- $75 / Session - $450 / Week
Private sessions for personal protection. Obedience and maturity of the dog is assessed, and a consultation is included in the initial session. Cost of entire protection course will be determined at this time. (usually 10-20 sessions)
Private Lessons -- $50 / 45 Minutes
These are 45 minute sessions with the instructor, the owner and the dog. Behaviour problems and basic obedience are covered in these lessons. Appointments may be booked in Maple Ridge for daytime, evenings, or Saturday afternoons.
Inboard Training -- $50 / Day - $350 / Week
We offer IN-BOARD training for any breed, any age, at our kennel in Maple Ridge. If you are going on vacation and need to board your dog, you can receive training for him/her while you are away. If you want your dog Professionally trained, you can send him/her out for our 3 week intense basic level course. You will also receive a handling lesson when you pick up your dog. In-Board training can help with ‘housebreaking’, ‘socializing’, ‘dog aggression’, and ‘fearful dogs’.
FOR TRAINED DOGS: We offer agility training, retrieving, off leash work, hand signals. Also we can do personal protection for our clients with dogs we have assessed.

Boarding -- $40 / Day - $280 / Week
We often have kennel space available for Boarding without training.

14 days or more - discounts will apply.
Second dog is $20.00 extra / day.
Boarding includes all food, blankets & exercise twice daily. Runs are heated inside and private. Socializing available for similar ages. Vaccinations required.
For the small house dogs we offer a place in our home with several outings to relieve themselves. And for our senior guests, we can do any medications and have a low stress environment.
In our main kennel, the runs are covered, the inside is heated, and each dog receives a blanket on their bed. All our boarding pets are handled by Janet or Werner or an experience helper.
Sometimes a combination of our programs is the best solution for the dog and his owner.
